Jim is a trusted advisor and consultant of Sky Law. He is an international tax law guru with over 20 years of experience. He minimizes US taxes for foreign businesses, individuals, and trusts while keeping clients in compliance with the IRS. Jim is a member of the Washington D.C Bar and an Enrolled Agent for the IRS. On his days off, Jim loves to barbeque and discuss politics.
Sam Aarons

Sam is the Tax Director of Sky Law and Partner of Sky & Aarons Accountancy LLP. Sam has over eight years of experience in public accounting at large firms, including RSM and CLA. He specializes in advising businesses and high net worth individuals. His expertise includes tax and estate planning, capital gains taxes, pass-through entity taxes, and tax credits. Sam enjoys taking walks with his dog and cooking with his family.
Edward Tan
CPA, MS Tax
Edward has over 20 years of experience in tax and accounting. He has been a consultant of Sky Law clients since the firm was found in 2019. Edward assists businesses and business owners with tax planning, tax credits, non-profit tax and foundations, IRS audits, corporate re-organization, and business advisory. In his spare time, Edward enjoys lifting weights, gardening, and attending church with his wife.

Navigating through the intricacies of the law and tax code, Ike helps business owners and their families build and protect their wealth. He takes pleasure in finding tax credits and minimizing legal exposure through creative solutions because he understands not all clients enjoy keeping up with the law.
Ike's professional experience at large and small firms have provided valuable experience in tax and law. He has had the privilege of working with some of the best attorneys at the IRS and Board of Equalization as a legal intern while attending Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he received his Law Degree and Tax LL.M. Ike also holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in economics from the University of Southern California (USC).
He occasionally serves as an adjunct professor at California State University, Los Angeles. He has written numerous research papers published by Harvard, Tokyo University, USC, and other publishers. This dedication underscores his commitment to the pursuit of knowledge. Being able to mentor students is a blessing to him, knowing that one day they may help their own clients thrive in a complex financial landscape.
